Dan Cole is our new Head Coach and runs his own tennis coaching company Spin4Serve.

He is assisted by Pernilla Rosenberg who currently coaches at the Club. Dan has more than 20 years of experience in tennis coaching behind him and specialises in all aspects of coaching the sport, from mini tennis and junior coaching to group adult coaching and private lessons for all levels.
"We use the most up-to-date teaching methods and philosophies, state-of-the-art video analysis and specialist footwork methods to help you get the most out of your tennis," Dan explains.
Dan's tennis background started in his youth when he played for Sussex as a junior and also at national level. He continued to play for Sussex as a senior and currently plays number 1 for Sussex in the over 35s. His highest LTA rating is 2.1 and has reached ninth best player in the country in the over 35s. He has been a full-time tennis coach for more than 20 years, working with all ages and levels at various clubs. He has also worked with national and international players. Past posts have included Head Tennis Pro at Windmill Hill Tennis & Golf Academy, in Hailsham, and the Head Pro at the David Lloyd Club in Eastbourne. He has also worked abroad, coaching in Qatar, India, Germany and Florida.
For Wadhurst Tennis Club, Dan has redesigned the adult and junior coaching programme, to provide classes for all standards and ages, and is organising box leagues, tournaments, a buddy list (to find people of a similar standard to play with), Easter, summer and half term coaching courses for juniors, private lessons and a restringing service.

Pernilla has been coaching for eight years and is LTA qualified at levels 1 & 2. She has played for Essex at junior and senior level and been Club Champion at a number of clubs. She joined Wadhurst in 2003, coaching the juniors on Saturday mornings, and she also teaches at Bricklehurst Manor in Stonegate.
